Covid 19 Update for 2020 Learn-to-Sail Programs

Dear customers:

It goes without saying that there is a lot of uncertainty regarding public health requirements as we move into the summer period.  Your health and safety is always our primary concern, so please be assured that BQYC has and will continue to comply with all public health requirements and guidelines to minimize health and safety risks to our participants, our employees, our members, our families, and our community.

If our summer programs are permitted to continue, we will increase our cleaning and sanitization procedures on hard surfaces, and ensure participants have access to facilities to wash/sanitize hands before/after activities.  Our staff will be trained on the new procedures and monitored for compliance.

If our summer programs are not permitted to continue or are postponed to later in the season, BQYC will offer our customers a 100% refund or permit customers to rebook, space permitting.

In order for this process to be seamless, we require that everyone use the on-line registration system, where an account will be created (if you don’t already have one), and you pay by major credit card.

In the meantime, we hope that you and your family remain healthy.

Ian McPherson,
Commodore

Mitch Kennedy,
Fleet Captain, Sail Training

Welcome to the BQYC

BQYC is located in the City of Belleville on the beautiful Bay of Quinte and we are a short walk from the newly revitalized downtown core.

Our club caters to the interests of both sailing and power boaters through our various programs in cruising, racing in keelboats or dinghies, sail training or simply socializing at the Long Reach Bar. We also have an active social calendar as well.

Note that BQYC is a self help club and our expectation is that members will contribute to such activities as the organizing of events, house and grounds maintenance, sailing school, etc.
